Story:
Anand (Sumanth Ashwin) is an aspiring director struggling to cope with the pain of a failed relationship. In an attempt to clear his head, he heads to Goa with his friend Kumar (Rohan). While there, Anand meets Ritiak (Meher Chawal) and soon finds himself falling in love again. Meanwhile, Kumar is smitten by Amiya (Kritika Shetty). The story follows the two couples and explores how their relationships evolve and how their trip concludes on a positive note.
Plus Points:
Sumanth Ashwin delivers a solid performance as the lead, showcasing significant improvement as an actor. His dialogue delivery and overall look are fresh and appealing, making him the highlight of the film. Rohan, playing his friend, is also decent throughout.
The Goa backdrop is beautifully captured, and the depiction of the carefree vibe, romance, and challenges faced by the two friends is engaging. Meher Chawal impresses with both her looks and performance. The comedy, particularly between the two lead characters, works in several scenes, with Sumanth Ashwin displaying good comedic timing. Krithika Shetty and Gokaraju Ramana contribute with respectable performances in their roles.
Minus Points:
One drawback is the slow pacing, as MS Raju takes too long to establish the plot by focusing excessively on character introductions. While the film has moments of humor, it could have benefited from more emphasis on the comedic aspects, as there was potential for further development. The storyline is fairly routine, and aside from a few emotional moments, the film lacks the kind of intense drama that could have made a bigger impact.
