While Sreenu Vaitla does a good job developing Viswam’s character, the film falters with a weak narrative, especially in the second half. The mind game between the hero and the villain lacks the intensity it could have had, and the hero’s flashback doesn’t add much depth.
Apart from the comic relief, the screenplay feels lackluster. There was potential for a more compelling storyline, but Vaitla sticks to his familiar formula, which has become predictable. Though certain aspects like the dialogues, characterizations, and background score stand out, the overall result is a rather average film. A tighter screenplay and a more formidable antagonist could have drastically improved the film’s impact.
